How to measure your feet

To measure your feet in the simplest way, you need a wall, a piece of paper, a pencil, and something to measure with, for example a measuring tape or a ruler.

  1. Place the paper edge to edge with the wall and make sure there is no space between the wall and the paper.
  2. Stand on the paper with your heels against the wall.
  3. Put a mark on the paper where your longest toe ends. Do this for both feet.
  4. Use the measuring tape or ruler to measure from the edge of the paper to the mark. Now you know your foot length.

How to choose the right shoe size

Start from the foot length of your longest foot. It is common to have different foot sizes, and by starting from the longest, it is more likely that the shoes will fit both feet.

  • Add 5–20 mm (0.2–0.8 inches) to allow space in front of the toes.
  • The exact allowance depends on the shoe model and your preferred fit.
  • Keep in mind that your feet may swell slightly during the day.

Storm 8 Winter Safety Boot Black 11-11.5"

It's a nice looking boot, material feels good to the touch. But it conducts the cold and my feet are frozen. My Timberland Pro is much warmer . I'd like to give a next generation of this boot a try if the bottom of the boot is replaced or enhanced to resist the cold.

Storm 8 Winter Safety Boot Black 10-10.5"

still breaking them in. comfort is good however one boot is pinching at the bend point/metatarsal. will be a shame if this doesn't go away over time. otherwise happy with the boot.

Storm 8 Winter Safety Boot Black 10-10.5"

It's a good quality boot I was unfortunately unable to wear them as they are on the narrow side and don't offer a wider boot

Storm 8 Winter Safety Boot Black 9-9.5"

The size is a bit small; it's not wide enough in the toe, which is causing my toe to hurt.
