NFPA 2112 - USER INFORMATION
WARNING
The use of this garment does not guarantee full protection for all circumstances and conditions; precaution must always be taken. The garments functionality does not include protection against prolonged severe heat, extended open flame, electrical loads or hazardous substances. Do not use for firefighting purposes. Appropriate size must be chosen for correct fit and to achieve correct functionality and protection. The garment must be fully closed and not covered by other clothing or equipment to comply with applicable standards. There shall be no folds on arms or pants legs and all traps and other adjustment features on garments must be closed and adjusted to fit. NFPA 2113 requires upper and lower body coverage. When combining a clothing assembly, top and bottom must overlap. In the event of splashes from molten metals, chemicals or flammable liquids, retreat immediately and remove garment with caution. Garments permanently contaminated by flammable or hazardous substances shall be discarded immediately. When removing the garment, fully extend all adjustments (if provided) and unfasten all closures (zippers, buttons snaps, etc).
Always inspect the garment before use; dirt, permanent contamination, signs of fading, embrittlement, damages or wear may indicate that the protection functionality is impaired. Garments exposed to grease, oil or flammable substances shall not be used. Damaged garments should always be repaired prior use. The garment may only be repaired using materials and threads that meet the requirements of the standard in question. Unrepairable items shall be discarded immediately. To maintain the protection properties throughout the life of the garment, cleaning should be made regularly and only according to care instructions. Exposure and use will also affect the protection. Store in a dark and dry place.
Any defects resulting from manufacturing of garment and/or materials/components are covered by Blåkläder warranty. Defects resulting from normal wear, improper use or personal negligence is not covered by this warranty.
The selection and use of flame-resistant clothing should be based on a hazard assessment of the conditions in which the wearer of the garment will be working. Contact Blåkläder prior applying any labels or making other alterations to the garment.
